Re-designing Your Historical Garden
Tuesday 17th MARCH 2026 from 6.30pm onwards with light refreshments
PURLEY SMALL BARN, PURLEY, RG8 8DR
In the wonderful old Purley Small Barn, Adam Scott, Windsor Castle and Bagshot
Park Garden Manager, will talk to us about his work and the history of how
monarchs through the ages have influenced the garden design.
Following His accession to the throne, His Majesty King Charles has swiftly
implemented his vision for the rejuvenation of the Grade 1 listed Royal Gardens
at Windsor Castle and also at Sandringham House.
Adam will highlight a year across the gardens and how monarchs through the
ages have influenced the garden design; how the East Terrace recently
developed into the Venus Garden, from a hand drawing to reality; and how
Adam has interpreted and implemented this redesign, of both private and public
space.
Do join us whilst enjoying free wine and nibbles.
Time: Please arrive from 6.30 pm on and the talk will start at 7pm. If you have
